Maggie
With a Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Maggie brings a wealth of experience to her work, having started her career in pediatric rehabilitation at Kennedy Krieger. Her background also includes working as a NICU social worker, where she gained extensive experience in both family planning and understanding the medical side of care. This combination of clinical expertise and compassionate support allows her to offer a unique perspective as she guides families through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
Maggie has developed a deep passion for working with NICU families and bereaved families, helping them navigate complex emotions and challenges during critical times. She is particularly drawn to supporting families facing difficult diagnoses, offering them both emotional care and practical guidance as they make decisions and process their experiences. After feeling a strong calling to help families in an outpatient setting, she found her home at SilverLeaf, where she continues to make a profound impact on the lives of those she serves.
What brings Maggie the most fulfillment in her work is the therapeutic relationship she builds with her clients. She takes great pride in seeing the “aha” moments, when her clients gain new insights and find paths toward healing. She is committed to creating a judgment-free space where trust can flourish, allowing clients to feel safe and supported in sharing their most personal struggles.
Outside of her professional life, Maggie is married to her college sweetheart and is a proud, fierce dog mom. She also has a nearly two-year-old child and resides in Annapolis, where she enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include going to the beach, seeking out new family adventures, and always being the first to know about new restaurants in Annapolis. She also enjoys DIY projects, crafting, and creating homemade gifts, which reflect her deep appreciation for personal and meaningful expressions of love.
Maggie feels privileged to support families through some of life’s most challenging moments and is committed to providing the care and compassion needed to help them heal.
